61st ANNUAL CUBA LIVESTOCK SHOW

A one day show only - located 1 mile south of Cuba at Fulton County Fairgrounds; Judging starts at 9:00 a.m. with Goats/Sheep @ 10am (market lambs 1st), hogs at 9 a.m. (gilts 1st), beef will start at 12:30 p.m. Held in conjunction with Cuba Soldiers and Sailors Reunion and supervised by the Cuba Agricultural Advisory Council and FFA Alumni, they will not be responsible for any accidents.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. This show is open to any Fulton County 4-H or FFA dues paying member. No entry fee.
2. Steers, Commercial Heifers, Market lambs, Barrows will be weighed on the grounds before showing.
3. Sheep/Swine must be in place by 7 a.m., and Cattle/Horse in place by 9:00am. The decision of judges will be final. All entries will remain until 5 p.m. or until released. All exhibits must be property of the exhibitor from the beginning of the project year.
4. Health Regulations. Heifers/Sheep = Certificate, Steers = no papers, Swine = Neg. Pseudo rabies
5. Pens, stalls and SAWDUST will NOT be provided.
6. All steers and heifers must have been dropped after January 1st, 2017. All steers may be mouthed and any found with one set of permanent teeth will not be eligible. No horned cattle.
7. All swine must have been farrowed on or after JAN.1st, 2018. All breeds show together. Barrows and Gilts cannot weigh over 220 lbs. An exception to the weight rule is if barrows have been officially nominated for county or state rate of gain classes. These forms must be presented to officials when weighing in.
8. All lambs/kids must be lambed/kidded after Jan. 1st, 2018. All breeds show together. All lambs/kids will be checked for sore mouth and foot rot prior to unloading. All market lambs must be slick shorn.
9. All animals must be stalled in the space provided. Keep animals in building and designated area.
10. Bucket calf and Young pig shower class must show 2018 calf or pig, member must be younger than 8 before Sept.1, All winners, No placing given, children must lead & setup calf. Answer calf questions.
11. Purebred Swine and Steers papers must be presented at scales, if less than 5 animals, will be combined with crossbred classes.
12. Showmanship classes will be for all species; Junior class under 13, Senior class13 and over.
13. Livestock Committee decisions are final

SWINE PREMIUM LIST
CLASS C – SWINE: Exhibitor may NOT show more than Four (4) total head of swine, with one being of the opposite sex regardless of weight or lot number.
All swine must have been farrowed on or after JAN.1st, 2018. All breeds show together. Barrows must weigh 225 lbs or less and Gilts must weigh 250 lbs or less. An exception to the weight rule is if barrows have been officially nominated for county or state rate of gain classes. These forms must be presented to officials when weighing in.
